idiot proofinghowdy,
where can i buy some idiot proofing spray or and idiot proof housing for the camera ? todays lesson in stupidity was compliments of noisy ISO 800 - out taking pics in middle of a bright sunny day....my brain kinda ticked over when the meter reading needed a higher than expected shutter speed but it didn't tick over far enough. fortunately the pics were ok and not great! the D200 needs A, S, P and I (Idiot) modes.
I have done this soo many time I have lost count. This is one of the (many) reasons I bought the D2x. It shows the ISO on the back LCD and within the viewfinder.
Cheers Dean I intend to live forever. So far, so good.

The other solution is to do a two fingered salute to the camera each time you take it out... hold down the buttons with green dots next to them for a few seconds and all the shooting settings go back to defaults.

I thought there was an idiotISO function on the D70 - isn't it called AUTOISO ??
