Sunday City reveals its shapes (6 images)In quest for finding more shapes again! Leaving roofs for birds and bats my legs lead me to almost lifeless Sunday City...
Regards, K.Polak
I really like the fifth shot.. nicely done.
cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
These sort of shots really appeal to me Krystian. I've been looking at the world more strangely since I got into photography and this is the sort of order vs disorder I seek out as well.
I love the way you've spotted the bizarre amongst the ordinary. No 4 is my favourite. Last edited by Manta on Sun Aug 28, 2005 9:36 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Thanks guys for feedback!
Xerubus, yep, propably this one is the best one in this series Manta, four one is also good, I agree. Just a shame that I could not cut of reflection (so I decided to fully introduce it). I would prefer clean shape. By the way, I know why you mean http://www.bcggallery.com/albums/manta_snippets/Mulitcoloured_Small.jpg Kipper, thanks for advice regarding to number 6th. Done and now looks better, it was a bit too pale Regards, K.Polak Last edited by krpolak on Sun Aug 28, 2005 7:00 pm, edited 1 time in total.
I liked four and I found it intriguing. It was similar to a post we had in one of the D70 Comps, where I couldn't figure out which way the shape was facing.
It took me a few seconds for my brain to go, "ah hah! it's a reflection". I mean at the edges of the photo, it's noticeable if you just isolate the centre it leaves you thinking. Darryl (aka Kipper)

Kipper,
this sculpture has so many different surfaces and luckily sit on a crossroads so gives many opportunities. But also its quite difficult to handle because its freaky shape and high buildings around. Light condition are important as well. I think I will go there once more sometime. Hope to get few better shots Regards, K.Polak
Some interesting captures there K...
Most of them had me wondering what they could possibly be... You have a good eye for the unusual... Cheers, John

Hi Krystian
Another sucessful round of images each challenging and very well thought out, your sheer ability to excel at composition shows in every image, you make the ordinary look special and in turn each of us learns something about seeing what is there and beyond, more importanly you teach us to analyse and appreciate design through photography, it's a pleasure looking through them. I especially like the framing of number 4 and the moment captured in the last image.
Hey, thanks Krystian - It's nice to see a reference to one of my shots in someone else's post And also thanks to both you and kipper - Number Six has now become my standout favourite. What a great shot! (PS - I've edited my posts to spell your name correctly - sorry! ) Simon
