I'm really hanging out for an official announcement!!

All these 'leaked' specs sound great... but I'm not believing anything until it comes from Nikon

Yes Paul same here will believe it all when we see it. I hope they do something as seem to always lack behind Canon.

They do seem to always be behind Canon in releasing things...

However for us 'loyal' Nikon Users I think that could be a good thing. Nikon can see what Canon have come up with and then come out and beat it slightly (either by features or price).

Yes true, i would not say i was a real loyal Nikon as it was just what i ended up with as i am not bias, like cars to me Holden and Ford i think they al have there good and there bad. Now if a eos 1d mark II was to fall into my hands i would not knock it back even the 8mp version. Just mean i would have to buy some new glass but yeh i do like my Nikon and well lets hope they make a winner.

LOL Steve, yes wouldn't it be nice. I am holding off i think and will keep putting a few $$ away and see what comes of all this new hardware getting around and coming out just to see what lies beyond the horizon caus eu can bet ya balls soon as you rush out and get something there will be something that might be different or a lil bit better. I for 1 if i new the canon was good in it's focusing i for one would give 1 a go. Could have both hey
