Well spotted Birddog!
Nikon PR and marketing must be cringing everytime a "leak" of their products from third party companies such as Lowepro, etc.

Cheers.

P.S If this were to be Apple products, third party comapnies who "leak" information before Apple officially announces them would suffer the wrath of Steve Jobs!

I believe that all of the ”leaks” have a purpose - Nikon, Canon et al seem to be doing it these days - it all adds to the hype :D

All the leaks are their strategies and with purposes, to keep the fans with them, since they chimped other side and knowing soon to be a new product released, I got some infos from other manufacturers awhile ago, telling me they have some optional parts for the yet released Canon 5D same as D200.

Not much passes our Birdy, eyes like a hawk. But you are right they will be lapping these leaks up, let just hope they come good with it all and some optional xtras like vertical grip, or 5d is looking good.LOL

That depends on the size of the deposit :)

Any guesses on price point...

If it is a ~3K camera it might be my next body...

CAM900 or CAM2000?
