Good description!!
But then again I’ve worked with some blokes that couldn’t possibly be man made, got me stuffed how they would have come to walk the face of the planet..

I'm assuming...but I can't find reference to it anywhere, that we are only allowed to enter 1 picture? Or can we enter more than one?

I have looked everywhere, but all the nature stuff seems to be in colour.
This could be real tricky.

Wait till the sun goes down.
Walk outside, into the middle of the street. (watch for oncoming trams).
Look up.
That should be natural, and black and white.
Oh dammit! I forgot; you're in Melbourne.
What's behind those rain clouds would be in black and white.

In my extensive experience, I've found that in-focus pics are usually better than out-of-focus ones. You're on the right track there!

You're not wrong Jordanp, someone has even entered the same photo twice, to be sure to be sure. I didn't think we had any members from Ireland

99: Oh, Max, what a terrible mistake for the challenge.
Max: Yes. You know, moderators should outlaw all double posts. We should insist upon it.
99: What if they don't, Max?
Max: Then we may have to blast them. That's the only way to keep peace in the world.

If I'm not mistaken that photo appears to be taken in October:

I feel like I'm the annoying little brother that won't go away. Everyone roll your eyes cause here comes another question.
When I try and upload my photo it says "Processing status...
Skipping grey scale tree smaller (can't handle grey scale tree smaller format)
I also tried to upload it from when I saved for Web, and it told me the same thing. What could be wrong?
Every time I sit at a computer and try to do something complicated it lops a slice off of the end of my life.

Here is a suggestion.
There are quite a few fantastic shots now submitted for the challenger.
How about for the voting that we all vote and then the top 3 go into a final selection and we vote again.
I think that this might focus people and make the process a bit more democtatic (ie, people won't just vote for their own photo in the top 3).
It also means we really have to think hard when it comes to voting for the final 3.
Your thoughts?

I like this suggestion as it creates more excitement as the contest goes on, and I think it will more accuratley reflect the best photo, as any baggage that we take into the initial voting is wiped clean and we evaluate the photos from scratch.
