Melbourne Hospitality

Postby cameraguy21773 on Tue Aug 30, 2005 9:29 pm

I was overwhelmed at the courtesy and hospitality shown me last Friday night by you folks. It was a major highlight of my trip. Thanks for including me. I will post a few images in the next few days on the other thread. Watch for them and let me know what you think.

Now that I've buttered you all up I need a favor. My business and my US Government affiliations require me to keep rather specialized security clearances and my travels are carefully watched. Since I initiated contact with you for the night shoot I am required to report the contact so that the people I'm contracted to understand that it was purely social. MAy I please have your names and occupations for my reports. I do not need any private contact information and this is NOT an investigation; just a requirement on my part. Thanks again for the wonderful treatment of a total stranger and ...

I was absolutely my pleasure to have you visit us in Melbourne. I enjoyed your company and hope to bump into you again.

Huh? I thought we were one the good guys, George Dubya Shrubs' loyal deputies and all that. The last time I read about contact reports was in a mouldy Tom Clancy novel...

I'm probably in trouble now as I live over the border and wasn't even there. So to stay in the good books my name is John, son of William, but you can call me Ivan Williamovich

Mike,

Probably just as well we didn't meet then. I'm not sure how your superiors would handle my response to such a request. :)

I'm going to suggest to people who are in the Melbourne chapter and were there that if you do this, to PM cameraguy21773 with this information and not to list it on a publicly viewable thread.

cameraguy21773

Now you've told us!

It was lucky to me if you attended the mini meet once you were in Sydney, so there're more works for me to report to the local police station same as hiring special security firm to protect a "VIP" was sent from George Dubya Shrubs, which I don't have any spare thought about him.

Or I may be have a surprised visit by the ASIO or The Secret Service Agent after.

Do you you have to report who did you sleep with while you're in Australia

That why I chose to remain in Australia and got out of that loop

Leigh,

Why not? This info is hardly any great secret. We have had a number of threads discussing what people do outside of photography so much of this info is available (for those people who have contributed to such discussions).

Cheers

Dean,

Two thoughts here, maybe Leigh is trying to increase the chances of responses to Mikes request as people may be more comfortable sending this info privately OR (in my best conspiracy theory voice) Leigh is worried that an unnamed government department, who has an individual here for a purpose we are not privy to, which also is a government with much written about it organising assasinations and its black ops divisions, is asking members for their details. Even if Mike was going to subtly change the details to protect the innocent, they could confirm them via this site.

Only joking, but if I don't post tomorrow you know what happened to me.

Now I remembered:

A POLAIR was buzzing over my base on the Saturday 20/8 when the mini meet started and couple black armor Chevy with dark tinted glass were running up and down the street, what made me wonder?
Now I knew and lucky me, he didn't come to the mini meet, otherwise I'm not here today.

Dean, Embi is just a distraction to get to you. You are the one working for the American multinational. Get someone to check you for microchips under the skin

Birddy, glad you are still with us. PS Both of you, if either dissappears, can I have your D2X?

Make sure no Melbourne members have any candid photos recording from his hidden camera to send back to his superior with name, etc... in his report, and your name + photos maybe on the black list of the Home Land Security Dept.

I know and I certainly understand. I should have just kept my mouth shut and not said anything but someone in my group may have said something to someone and forced me to make a report. It really is just a formality as OZ occupies a very privledged status among nations in the US. This is really testing me not any of you.

I hope to see some of you again in November.
