Nice image Krystian but can you clone out Optus, they suck.LOL Can you tell i have a bitch with them.LOL They keep ringing me to go with as i have been before and keep telling them NO over and over they dont take NO for an answer so now i just hang up soon as i here Optus. LOL

 LOL Gary , goes way back when i tried to change companies and well they didn't let me go. Had hell of a job trying to change telco's so i know better now but they keep ringing and i keep abusing. Oneday i hope they will get sick of being abused and told for as long as i live i would never go with them if they were the last telco on earth.

The three distinctly different coloured buildings set against the bold blue sky has quite a striking effect. This combination of colours works well.

Perhaps if I were to be picky, I find the traffic lights at the base of the Optu$ building a bit distracting - the aerial attached to the one on the left bothers me the most.

Thanks for feedback and good word. I though about the traffic lights, but found it somehow composing together as well as giving hint about building relations and photographer position. Though it might be interesting for carefull viewer.

I recon you are right about the aerial. Just left it to see what others think.

I was wondering that too, but not being a Sydneyite I wasn't confident enough to suggest it. The light on the LHS edge of the building in the middle got me thinking about this.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the white building belongs there... In fact, I think I've had a meeting in that building... BTW: bigpix... I don't know if you've noticed, but the picture in your signature has disappeared... It's been that way for a while now - I keep meaning to mention it...

Interesting juxtaposition. I always think of North Sydney as a soul-less, windy place, but you have reminded me that it has some nice history. Thanks!

John, you indeed would have been in that building, it is 60 Miller Street, used to be the site of the Victoia Cross Hotel, now the site of that building with the Victoria Cross Bar underneath. The clocktower is the Post Office and Courthouse building (which also used to house the police station & cells, I have done time in that building).

Answering question about buildings positioning.

I recon is about right, even if looks unusual due to strong perspective - try to compare floor hight on each building.

Initialy I took one shot with 20mm lens. However for me framing was too tight and distortion was too high, becasue I had to shoot low and there was no chance to move back further. So I decided to make a tree shots, each with very similar angle and slightly rotated to each building - kind of vary narrow panorama. Later I composed all three shots together based on central one.
