How about a get together?

Postby JordanP on Wed Sep 01, 2004 11:23 pm

Hi,

I've been away a while. I was wondering if any North Coasters were getting ready to get together for a bit of imaging? I've only just got my D70 and would love to get more familiar with it.

From what Jon was saying we might be able to get a group together. What do you reckon Raydar?

Where to go ..... always the dilema. Now when to go, that's an easy one - morning light or dusk..... maybe some night shots. I wouldn't mind something early or late with a coastal setting.

Problem is there is so much choice up here on the North Coast.

Do you have any favourite haunts Ray?

Yeah Craig :D

Coastal stuff has always been a draw card for me to.
I was in Even Head the other weekend & thought this place would be worth walking around firing off a few shots.
Ballina is full of interesting subjects too.

One other place we should hit one outing is the rain forests mate, you’re shore to come away with a winner.

My boss has just bought him self a Helicopter so I could talk him into doing some aerial stuff one time to.
After he learns how to fly it properly

Cheers

A helicopter hmmmm now that's interesting. What sort did he get? A Robinson 22 only seats the pilot and one other.

The coast is great I'll be in that - and rainforests have always presented a challenge for me so that would be interesting.

So you think probably 2 weeks from now? Should we try and get a firm date and then let Jon know so he can round up some others?

Yeah mate 2 - 3 weeks should be fine.

The chopper is a Rotor way, only seats two.

I will be in Jon’s today so I will let him know 2 – 3 weeks.

3 weeks suits me better so maybe go with that.

Are you picking up more gear today - or just going into Jons to test something?

Excellent maybe we can both learn to use it. So much new technology, my mind is bending. I've had a trusty FE2 for the last 12 years
