I'll be absent again (bloody petrol prices - cost Newcastle to Sydney is about $40), but will be there 17/9 if there's a meet.

I have the AC adapter but never use it to clean the CCD, though it's convenience to have but it's not necessary to have and and use it for the purpose of cleaning CCD. I can live without it. Pls. note: It can be use on the D70 but costly. Birddog114

Unless I've been wrong all these years, the "Mirror Lock-up" cleaning function on the D100 will only work when using the AC adapter (unlike the D70) so on the D100 your only option for cleaning the sensor in the field is to use a bulb exposure (and be careful your finger doesn't slip off the shutter button mid-clean!). Surely it's better (given a choice: I've cleaned D100s via bulb exposures) to use the AC adapter and Mirror Lock-up when cleaning a D100?
I used bulb mode in cleaning the CCD of the D100 few years now (I still have the D100 with me) and had none any of trouble same as the D2h & D2x. I cleaned the CCD for other friends who have the D100 before this forum started by bulb mode.
Good to have one AC adapter but not quite critical, that what was my finding when I was in the field and no access to power or AC adapter, but need to clean its CCD urgently, since then, I never use the AC adapter again to clean CCD. Birddog114

Unfortunately I have nothing worth selling.
All my Nikon gear is worthless with all these stories of newspapers switching to Canon, no full format Nikon coming soon, and no D200. At least I've got my Holga to fall back on
But you do need a hand to help you with a big clean up of the year Birddog114

i'll give it a miss this time
Is there room for me If so will be there

No mine is using vecro technology to hold the back together. Velcro is also applied to the frame counter to stop light leaks through there as well.
Huh. Lol.
You know, the more expensive (I think by about 10 bucks) Woca has a glass lens. But still, you gotta love how the Holgas can be used at any time and with any... size... frame... Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

I actually preferred the plastic Hola 120s lens over the Woca glass lens. I dont know why

Hi Birddog..
I'll have to bow out of coming... I'm feeling really lousy this morning.. I think it's a combination of lack of sleep and a cold. Sorry about the short notice.. Geoff http://www.gleff.com
