POTW

Postby johndec on Fri Sep 09, 2005 9:54 pm

With all the hacking hassles that we have had this week, I feel that poor old Dion hasn't received the credit he deserves. A large part of that relates to the fact that the thread announcing and discussing his achievement is ATM in GoDaddy limbo

Can I suggest that Dion's pic stays up for an extra week so that when the database is restored, he gets the kudos he richly deserves.
If I'm alone in a forest and my wife is not around to hear what I say, am I still wrong ??

According to the Index page, Dion's image has been posted for some 35+ years (Posted: Thu Jan 01, 1970 10.00am).......so one more week shouldn't hurt !

Yeah I was lurking a long time before my first post 8) My 20D was a very very very early pre-release model :P

Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes.

The current 20D must be some 20th anniversary model or something.

I thought about this idea last night but didn't say anything... I'm all for it. :)

I agree.

As an aside the link on the front page looks right, but goes to the previous POTW (John's pic). No doubt one of thise little restore problems
