Vince, if you are out there please tell me what you think, no doubt as good as what you can produce but this is my 1st with still a lot to learn.

The main thing is the Bride is over the moon & it looks much better in a beautifull leather bound Album with a Perpex Font cover with the 1st image on it.

Seriously though Mic... the results look incredibly professional... I love the way that you've combined different sized shots to compose a page in the album.

I did note that the wedding was in March though... why are you publishing it now??? have you only just finished PPing the shots???

If it is your first it looks very nice. My first wedding was similar

Personally I do not like too use too much back images on my pages, but that is my opinion.

Main thing is the couple love it

If you looked at all the images of Mic's wedding, you'd see at the very last one it says it was done by Picturegraphs for DifferentImages.

Btw, Mic.....I'd be chuffed if I was involved in this product. I've taken photos for a few family and friends weddings, just to provide a backup if the pro doing the shooting misses something or creates a load of shit shots. I know if I came out with a load of photos like this I'd be seriously happy about it.
Keep at photoshop, and learn about desktop publishing and design work.

BBJ, it's Photoshop and just a matter of getting up to speed with Layers and putting an image in the background and lowering it's opacity.

I'm working on one now and with a bit of practise & getting your work flow right, it really isn't that hard.

As some of the pro's would know here it's just a matter of confidence & practise and if you have an interest in it.

there are some really fantastic photos in there. I have no doubt the Bride & Groom will be absolutely thrilled with these....I would be !

My only critisism is that the crops on some of the headshots (mainly on Page 2) look a bit "tight"....IMHO, making it look like the photo was rushed or not composed correctly.

a good first effort for sure. you either had nice soft light or you are better at metering than a lot of so called pro's out there

Only thing I'd suggest is ;

- Don't shoot from down low looking up to people, it's ok to do it for the odd couple shot if there is a specific idea in mind but imho very unflattering most of the time, especially in a group shot.

- be careful of the sky in your backgrounds. you obviously only have a certain amount of dynamic range to work with but try and position yourself (where realistic) to avoid a blown white sky. I know thats not always possible.

- not sure what lenses you were using, but try and shoot with pretty wide apertures where possible, you want to really isolate the bride and the groom when appropriate. As an idea for what I use, I have the 85/1.4 pretty much permanently on one body the whole day, and on the other body have either a long lens or a WA lens or a zoom lens. Different strokes for different folks though.

- When in doubt, stand back a step. Easier to crop later than trying to deal with a shot where someone head is cut off

Good effort Mic! Apart from your obvious technical brilliance these shots have a nice candid easy feeling about them. That's what I like about these images, there's a mood, a feel about them that links everything together. That linking of shots with a certain "feel" is the key to a wonderful group of images.
Sorry I have not been around to respond, chat (& possibly encourage meaningful input ) lately. Too much work to do & not enough time to play
