Dave - a great capture - beautiful bird and beautiful colours - only niggle is it looks a little distorted (unless his head and beak are REALLY that big)

I really like this shot - the distortion of his head is great, and the colours are gorgeous. Still got a scar on my left hand from where one of these little buggers bit me at work!

thanks everyone. He certainly is a character. He stands on the door of his cage and rocks left & right, whilst making a whoo...whooow sound. I really should get the DV camera out and send the footage into Funniest Home Videos
