Dug - I am running both PSCS and PSCS2 on a Mac with Tiger and have no problems at all. Can you define what is happening :?:

ACR2 (in CS) knows about the D70 but not the D70s.
ACR3 (in CS2) knows about the D70s.

You have several options:
  • Upgrade to CS2.
  • Do a binary patch on the ACR2 plugin so that it treats the D70s files as D70 (but that will probably break D70 support).
  • Get the free DNG converter from Adobe (which is a standalone program using ACR3) and convert the D70s NEF files to DNG.
Then just access those DNG files in CS.

I am running PSCS (not PSCS2) and cannot open NEF files from my D70s.

D70 works fine

I believe there is a patch to do this but I have lost the location for it.

Cheers doug PS I am a complete luddite but I have a friend who will load it for me.

G'day,
Can't find the thread at the mo, but I think it was related to an EXIF field which once edited to be D70 as opposed to D70s was okey dokey... I'll have a gander and see if I can find it...

Whoops... hadn't picked that up...
In that case, I can only suggest that you use a Mac friendly text editor to change the Exif details to read D70 instead of D70s... that might work as well... :-)
