So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Pictures from airplaneToday, I took some pictures of nice airplanes from my seat in an old Cessna at 5000 feet. I can tell you it was pretty cold and windy with the door removed. The seat was vibrating so much and the weather was pretty bumpy that I decided not to be too obsessed with blurry propellers and rather went for clear pictures. I had borrowed a D2X and that makes life so much easier for focussing and chasing targets. Here is one (below).

And how/ what do you think the handling of AF in chasing these subjects in the sky once you were airborne in both of the D2x and D70?

You just cannot compare! Worlds apart, just beautiful! It's amazing that with all the vibrations, the bumps, me shivering I still got some nice pictures...
