Non-whistling KitesI took mini-leek to see the Festival of the Winds at Bondi Beach this arvo...
It's the first time that I've managed to visit this yearly event and we had a lot of fun... Here's some pics of some of the kites that were on show... Kit lens @ 70mm, 1/400s @ f6,3 Kit lens @ 70mm, 1/500s @ f6,3 Kit lens @ 70mm, 1/500s @ f6,3 Kit lens @ 70mm, 1/500s @ f6,3 I quite like #2 for it's simplicity, but otherwise I don't find these shots very spectacular - suggestions for improvement welcome... Got some exif data for us??
I reckon you should have added a bit of exposure compensation for the ones in the sky.. Those clouds will be playing with your meter. Thats a huge kite though "If your pictures aren't good enough, you're probably not close enough." Robert Capa.

Don't hane any suggestions for the images but I remember checking out some incredible kites at an arty farty store in Warby recently, WOW there's some amazing stuff out now, huge Pterodactyles (how the heck do you spell that!) and some fantastic wild lookin' dragons!
Wish we had them when I was a kid... Aka Andrew
EXIF added to original post... Not sure that it means a lot anyway as I frequently do exposure compensation in Photoshop anyway...
Cheers, John

It was more that I was wondering if it was A, S, P, or M that you used.
By looking at those pics I can tell it was A though. "If your pictures aren't good enough, you're probably not close enough." Robert Capa.

If in Sydney, and I'm looking for something to do / photograph at the weekend... I always check here... Cheers, John
