Very nice - especially the detail on the bee.
Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes. http://www.dionm.net/
Well done Kerry. That 1st one of the bee is astounding.
Can you get any better with that lens ? If so, I'd love to see it Have you tried any noise removal software/plug-ins ? Due to the bumped up ISO, that's the only thing I'd look to change. Dave

Many thanks for all the kind comments, guys.
Justin: Yes, I still post pics on dpreview, but only the lens forum. I rarely post on the d70 forum, but only to make a comment. I don't recall if I sprayed the flower in this shot or not. I have a lot of shots like this, that were taken after the water sprinklers had been on. Dave: I have Noise Ninja and Noiseware Pro, along with the NR in Capture and PSP. I rarely use them. I'm not as sensitive to noise, especially monochrome noise, as a lot of people. I don't like the color noise and will often use NR on that, depending on the shot and severity. my gallery of so-so photos
