I think you are on to something kipper. Both are creatures of the night and both "howl" in different ways.

Hahaha... Now that is very very funny... It's exactly the same species that I asked Don to identify - except mine was still a caterpillar at the time... I bet you have gardenias in your garden... Cheers, John
