The ALDI/Medion Laptop

Postby Geoff on Tue Sep 13, 2005 6:29 pm

I'm a fan! Just found out too that IF I needed it, this model MD95400 comes standard with a *2* year onsite warranty, i.e they will come to wherever you are within 1-2 days IF there's a problem with it. I can highly recommend this piece of hardware :) They also sell spare batteries which I was told would be difficult to source! Happy camper I am.

Can you post up some info about this laptop of yours? im soon going to be in the market for one..... sometimes i go o fishing trips in extremely remote areas for upto 3 weeks at a time.. and having a laptop nearby that i can upload fotos to and burn onto a dvd would be handy.. but also to check out the images after the day and see what came out good

Cheers

(Noting that some Dell models have chipsets that don't work well with the Nikon s/w)

I use Nikon Viewer (not capture) and PSCS2 with NO hassles what so ever.

Geoff,

Would you be kind enough to bring this along to the mini-meet on the 24th as i'd be keen to have a look at it. My current lappy is two YO and it's almost time to sell him to a good home while his curent resale is still acceptable :)

Hi Geoff

I have not seen one but before I do can I ask a question?

What is the screen like? Is it very crisp and clear?

Thanks
