Flying highTook this today at the Melbourne show.
Thoughts / comments? Jamie

I like it a lot. Getting the clouds in the background gives that extra feeling of height. Not much you could do about the light if you wanted a good shutter speed. What lens u use???
2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

I used the 50mm 1.8, would have liked to have had the kit lens with me but i left it home rather than carry around the extra weight all day.

Great shot! only comment is it looks abit dark, but i am an my horrible screen at work........
looks like the guy on the left cant decide if he's letting go or holding on for dear life........ in the beginning was the word, and the word was Aardvark......
Not bad Jamie, these shots are hard to get to look great unless you can get close enough and use a flash so you did well, for even using the 50m lens.

Good capture As stated these shots are very hard outdoors with so many variables.

Wow, one hell of a jump... Noticed the soft/feathered halos... Is there any room at the bottom of the frame to give them more sky underneath them? You've done well to catch this... Wonder if playing with curves just on the bikes and riders would help bring out some more detail?
Great catch... Aka Andrew
Great image and well done, but i reckon this is crying to be cropped in a nice long Pano style.
At first i thought it was the same rider but then i looked a bit closer and realised not. Good work. Steve.
