'Tis better to have loved and lust than never to have lust at all.
Shot with the 70-200VR no doubt
Sorry to hear that it rained but with a lens like that to keep you company you must of had a big fat smile on your face.
Stuart, you have a good sense of humour

Thank You
At least the rain gave the waterfalls some "fuel"....I had to hand hold this as I didn't have a tripod (1/5 sec).....the VR of the 24-120VR finally got some use

Stuart. These are both good shots for very different reasons and both are appropriately evocative. I like the DOF you've achieved in the first one in particular (and I'm NOT trying to be funny).

Stuart, I was there recently visiting family (I was also born there). The weather was not perfect but I can assure you that you do not want to be there during January/Feb. Not only is this the main tourist season (read large numbers of people), it is also the hottest period.
You can see I had some good weather by looking at my current avatar (the rock taken near Tamarin Bay) and this post taken north of Mauritus: http://www.dslrusers.com/viewtopic.php?t=8867&highlight=
Re: Sunny Mauritius??
Welcome back to Australia Stuart. Sorry to hear about the weather. I bet you are tired now! Quite a long trip for a weekend Nice shots too. The VR at 24mm must be impressive for workable shutter speeds. Cheers, HB
Glad to hear you're back. At least you have had few good relaxing days, and tomorrow back to normal duty!
