Picture of the Week 27.09.05

Postby Geoff on Tue Sep 27, 2005 2:52 pm

Well this week there were a couple of photos which I had in mind and this one did it for me:

Image

Congratulations to John (BBJ)! I thought that the clarity and colours of this image were great and it is an interesting shot too with the dirt spitting out the back of the bike, very well captured! A very earthy shot! :) For the original thread visit here. Well done BBJ!

Great choice - congratulations John. Another great example of why POTW makes sense since I missed this little beauty the first time around.

The dirt really makes this for me as it conveys a wonderful sense of action.

I missed the original post John but I can see why Geoff picked this image. I have said this before but I will reiterate: your pics have grown in stature in the past year and this particular pic epitomises your craftsmanship - well deserved POTW:D

Thank you Geoff and All, my first time too with POW so i am rapped. I dont mind doing this sort of action if the wind is going the right way, lucky for me i didn't get too dirty, but make great shots.
Thanks

Congrats John, and well deserved.

What those riders get up to is amazing, and the attitude those bikes display is truly scary. Another shot in your series had a bike in the air, while leaning over. Amazing !

Hehe...on reflection, number 43 seemed to figure in quite a few of your shots. He must have been the 'rider of the day' !

Cheers
