Morning MistHi all - just back from the weekend camping (ok - long weekend ), and thought I'd share this one...
Worthwhile getting up early for this view I think Something very Australian about this sort of scene, and the light was just right. There'll be more to come, but right now I gotta have a nice hot shower - these cold showers have taken their toll for the last 4 days! *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
Leon, very nice image, very australian

Nice image Sheepie. I've never been very lucky with shots of mist. Maybe I live in the wrong state...

Thanks guys
This was shot from Diamond Head (Crowdy Bay National Park - Mid North Coast of NSW), looking back with the sunrise at my back (hence the really nice lighting). The spot I was in wasn't the best for the sunrise, so I looked around for other opportunities Used the 70-300G @ 190mm (on a tripod) - f16 @ 1/3sec Here's a quick pano from the same spot... http://sheepie.smugmug.com/gallery/498009/1/37714817/Large *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
Both nice pics Leon, although I think the pano gets it by a nose.
