Africa - Lion SeriesHi,
more big cats from the Masai Mara. This young lion had just finished eating it's fill of wildebeest, look at it's full tummy! It was part of a pride of at least 17 lions and the pride had just killed 4 wilderbeest that morning - just 200m out of our camp! These two cubs were just sitting in the grass when we got there. They are 4 weeks old. Mom was still keeping them hidden in bushes till they got old enough to join the rest of the pride. There were a few freelance nature photographers at this site, just one Nikon photog and two Canon photogs. Cheers, Radar Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. Ansel Adams

Really nice captures Andre. The cubs are fantastic! Pity they grow up and tear you to pieces...

That's one fat kitty! Really love the lighting in these Andre, and am very jealous.
In the second one, I like the way the depth of field focuses (excuse the pun) your attention on the cub whose face is not obscured - imho that makes the shot Thanks for sharing these. *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
