Thnak you everyone... they were shot with the kit lens, its the only one I have at the moment (waiting on Sigma 70-200 from HKS... yes I am on the back order list!) But looking forward to doing it all again. Off to adelaide for weekend so might have to look around while I am there

Nice one Jonesy, both work well and the exposures are on the money. You might like to try shooting the second one earlier in the night to capture some blue in the sky rather than just black (typically you only have around 45 mins to an hour in which you can do this, but IMO it's worth it).

MCWB - I shot them at about 9pm... so it was well and truely dark but I know what you mean and I am making sure I am out just after dusk/dark so that there is still some colour in the sky Kris - I am at work... but I think it is called 'John Handy', really sorry but cant remember where I picked it up (no doubt a free site or disk)...
