I can see why you like it, but there seems to be a little bit of distortion going on in this pic... the edge of the wall appears to be bent
Cheers, John

I like the concept.
A bit too much wall for my liking though, and for some reason the green bag (or something green) between the fence and the wall caught my eye. Photo gallery online here and some more on deviantArt here.
Yes, too much wall and the green whatever is distracting! damn
bent hmm yes must be my crap tripod! 5D | 16-35L | 35L | 85L | 135L | 70-200F2.8IS | 580EX

Time for a new one, i know where you can get a nice one...... I do like the concept but agree with those above me. I also feel the WB should be corrected too. If you have a 'lonely' concept then you really shouldn't use an 'warm' orange hue to the image, 'cold' blue would be more appropriate or of course my perennial favorite, grainy B&W. Just some ideas. Steve.

Is that the same wall Chris? I've never been to the one you are referring to.
Steve.

I actually like it the way it is. Not sure why, I think it's the perspective.. Had I done it myself, I probably would have ruined it by just taking the walkway. Adding the wall just makes it better imho.

Yes, you are right. There is something about it, just not sure 'what'.
Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes. http://www.dionm.net/
