While we're at it (I've just been looking through the total posts figures):

Pirostitch snuck past the 1000 mark towards the end of last week.

KerryPierce did the same about a fortnight ago.

All three of you Simon, Wayne & Kerry are valuable members here. You contribute greatly to the discussions and posts an interesting and varied array of images for our education and enjoyment.

Congratulations and thanks to the three of you.

Well done Simon, hopefully I may get to a Brissie/Coast minimeet sometime, it's a bit hard being stuck in the middle of the coast when it comes to meets, but someone has to live in Coffs Hbr and patronise the local printing establishments, and it might as well be me! :D

Also congrat's to BigPix and Kerrie who have also reached the magical 1000.

My sincere thanks for the kind wishes from everyone. Congrats also to Piro and Kerry. I thought I may have PMed BP at the time he got his but, if I didn't, hearty congratulations mate.

The number of posts I've made is merely indicative of the topics, views and images supplied by others to which I can't help but respond.

What I find really refreshing is that looking back over the history of this forum, the number of positive posts probably rates around the 99.9% mark compared to the negative. We're not going to change the world in a hurry here but at least we're heading in the right direction.

I wonder how many posts or images on this forum have made someone's day or inspired someone to do something that enriched their life? It's certainly happened to me and I'm sure others have experienced it too.

So, thank you for your good wishes on my reaching a milestone but thank you most sincerely for creating a landmark forum, community and group of friends that educate, entertain and support each other, often in ways that you never realise.

Mic

In the inverted world your post count started at 1 and has been getting smaller ever since. You are currently at 1/1460 which means you're only just in front of the post count of a newbie (0 posts). Hence we didn't notice the milestone.

Seriously though  Congratulations to you too for your valuable contributions and stimulating discussion and, most importantly for me, you weird and wacky sense of fun.

I've said it elsewhere, but I'd like to restate my amazement at the exponential leap in the quality of your work since your brief sabbatical. Thank you for being here.

Very well put, Peter, as usual. :D

Mic:
I, too, would like to add my belated congratulations to you for your contributions herein. The forum would be greatly lacking without the personality and character you inject and I hope you continue to raise the bar, challenge our views and encourage us to laugh with you, if not at you. Thanks for pepping us up on a regular basis. We couldn't do without you.
