Thanks Birdy i am sure they will be waiting with baited breath. So how did the KB2 go with the big lens on? Think that is the right 1, the bigger 1.

As you have seen a thread from Glen with the 200-400VR early this week, It seems to work OK with the KB-2, I had no trouble with it, so far so good!

More stocks will arrive next week.

Sounds ok think he had the 200-400VR, i guess that might be heavier than the 300m of mine so could be ok. I will have a think as i realy could use something maybe i can swap over to the tripod, i dont use it often so i gather they will fit on, as i got Chi's old manfroto and has a poxy 3 way thing on it.
Just had my oposition around here try a couple lens as he brought a D2x so i had a bit of a play.LOL

Yes, you can pick it up on Friday, but have to pick it up no later than 8:00am. I'm leaving after that.

So birdy for those of us who have paid for a KB-2... did you get them this time around or are they also expected next week?

No pressure... just curious.

Thanks
Paul

Can you supply Benro lens plates on their own???
I still need a lens plate for my 80-400VR and I suspect that the Benro version may be a cheaper option than the RRS 97L...

Yes, I can, I thought you got the RRS 97L from other chap! So I didn't bother to ask you last week, actually the RRS LC-A11 Package is the great replacement lens collar and foot for the 80-400VR, it's far better than its original collar.

Good point Leek, I wouldn't mind a second plate for the 80-400 too.

Unfortunately it got lost in the post :-(
But unusually for eBay, the guy has offered me a full refund :-)

It was a small packet, so there is no tracking information available...

If you can get me a Benro plate - I'd appreciate it...

BBJ, the AFI 300/2.8 is 2.95kg, the 200-400VR is 3.15kg, so 200grams heavier, don't think you will have any problem
