Print presentation - correct colours

It occured to me that pics shot outdoors in daylight, would best be displayed/exhibited outdoors in daylight, in order to recreate the correct colours.

As most exhibitions are displayed indoors, under halogen/ tungsten lighting, should we be compensating the colors of the print to these conditions?
What do you recommend to do with it ?

Interesting point, but I feel the downsides of colour issues indoor are minor compared to those faced by an outdoor presentation. At least inside, you have (varying) control on lighting. Outside, the conditions could be anything! I would think most exhibition-type lighting would be balanced closely to normal sunlight. Therefore, any printing would presumably be with that in mind?

This is a known issue and it has always been the case that you adjust your colour balance so that the image looks natural under the lighting conditions of the venue where the image is displayed. Prints that are going to be hung outdoors need to be printed differently to those hung indoors.
