It does look like you had a great week-end...

The snakes head has terrific detail and clarity (the focal length would be interesting! ) and the big boys toys look like they'd be a ball!

Two observations.

1 - are these guys crazy?

2 - are YOU crazy - that snake is very up close and personal. This is an absolute corker of a pic. Crisp and detailed and way more close than I'd ever get to one of these critters in real life. Dare I say it (memory ain't what it used to be), bit I think this is the best pic I've seen from you.

Thank you for the nice comments guys. I came across the python sunning himself on a track and paced him out - a tad under three metres, but he was not about to move for me or anyone.

The carpet python head is awesome. Looks great.

Those errm, vehicles are very interesting. Now that looks truly like off-road driving. I'd like to see those Mosman Maniacs in their Suburban Assault Vehicles take on that terrain.

Snakes are nearly blind and will only attack when they sense movement. I have seen a snake wrangler with 2 Taipans going over his boots - he did not move an inch
