I love that store, so many toys. But I hate having to drive into the city, yet they always have what I need.

I have positive and negative things to say about Vanbar (Melbourne).
I wanted a tripod, and live near the Sth Yarra store, so I rang them Saturday morning and got no answer. I rang head office in Carlton (?) as well and got no answer. I accidently rang one of their fax numbers and got no answer. I went to the Sth Yarra store and it was closed (before noon). I suspect that the new store will replace the Sth Yarra store. Ni mention of store closure on the web that I saw.
I went to the Carlton office on Monday and had excelent service from a knowledgable person, so I walked out happy with tripod and head.
Overall I would shop there again. I am guessing ther systems are a little flakey but the person I spoke to was good.
