The generosity and community spirit of DSLRusers astounds

Postby pippin88 on Wed Oct 05, 2005 1:39 am

Once again I'm astounded at the generosity and community spirit of the people here at DSLRusers.

Not only do we have Birddog with his mini meets and hospitalitity, but we also have members lending each other gear left, right and centre, especially when someones camera spits the dummy. The admins who put in time keeping us running and organising our events, and all the users that post and have developed this great to place to learn and hang out.

But we also have members like PiroStitch, who has spend hours of his time developing (or if I wanted to sound important "helping me develop") an availability table for a website I'm building.

We really do have a great community.

Many on-line communities I participate in are a must to gain credability or to form contacts etc. However the D70 community is a pleasure to be associated with and I have received so much assistance. All you have to do is ask and people share. Ego's are left at the door and people with a pasion for photography get along with a common purpose.

The members here, their combined knowledge and willingness to share, the admins, and our patron, are all very good reasons to hang around here. Besides it is good fun :D
