Wanted: A moron to apply for work as an elf!!

Postby rokkstar on Fri Oct 07, 2005 1:41 pm

The other day, after reading a post by Leigh about becoming a christmas photographer, I thought it would be a laugh to apply to become a christmas photographer.

I just got a call, asking me in for an interview! I don't know why I do these things you know, why the hell do I not engage my brain before acting???

Anyway, I'm in two minds about this:
1. It would be a nice distraction from web development
BUT
2. I would have to probably dress up as an elf!

Now I don't think a 6 foot, bald, unshaven guy such as myself is going to make a very good elf and put the kiddie winks at ease.
But I mean, how hard can it be?

Cheers
Elfboy

You'd be the only elf I've seen wearing a leather jacket and a thong.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen many elfs at all, so what do I know, maybe that's their summer uniform.

We can all turn up with our cameras and give Elfboy a hard time. :)

But the really fun part is that he gets to deal with all of those luverly, screaming kiddies!

Yech!

Bugger.

Yeah, everyone's invited to come and have their pictures taken on santas knee. Of course, the cost will be double as I will be obliged to post them on the net unless payment is forthcoming.

If you wore your leather jacket, Matt, you could be 'Biker Elf' and depending where you were located it could draw some interesting responses!

Not too sure if you should follow this example, a 6ft elf clad only in a xmas hat of sorts is not a pretty sight to imagine    but put me down for the photo trip. Love to see where you wear the hat   head number 1 or 2

Cheers,
Terry
