Nikon Small World 2005 winners

I was reasonably happy with my macro shots so far...
But now I've seen the winning entry in Nikon Small World 2005

There are some amazing photos in this year's gallery - have a look...
Cheers, John

Restores my faith in Micro and Macro to see images which indicate that for for some it is not just about the ability to close range on a subject but that they can also have the visual dexterity to retain aesthetic values such as design, balance and harmony.

A lovely morning accompaniment to a pot of Rosie - thank you.

Cheers,

the images sit well with a late evening (11.30pm) can of Grolsch, not the first either :D !
stunning stuff, oddly enough shot number 19 is from Huddersfield about 8 miles from me......, small world, no pun intended!
though this lot does make me wonder why bothered ordering the 105mm macro last night.........

These are all superb - thanks for the link. #6 is almost like a piece of artwork on canvas :D
