We\'re running a test at the moment of our forum in Wap!

Go to the wap site!

I was mostly testing to see if bbCode worked in the wap version of the site.
However, if you don't like to hover over links to find out what the url is, the address is http://www.dslrusers.net/wap to access the forum in wap on your phone.

Minor Notes!!!
Functions like private messages and logout don't actually seem to work all that well, if at all.
However, you can read messages, reply to topics, and post new topics.

If your cellphone is WAP enabled, then this will let you access the site from your phone.

Handy for those addicts who want toa ccess us while travelling to and from work on the train, the bus .... while OS but without web access ... at the coffee shop ... stuck in traffic in Sydney's M5 tunnel ...

Good guess OnePutt, but WAP = Wireless Access Protocol

WAP is a way to access the internet via a cut down web interface from mobile devices. It's also a way for the phone companies to entice us to do things they can charge us extra money for.

I honestly can't remember what the TLA stands for.

But it's really dead technology. A solution looking for a problem that never really existed.

Nonetheless, Leigh found the solution, and decided that he had the problem. :)

Which, of course, was the real problem that they were trying to address.

Hey... I've got $230 worth of calls and GPRS access... and I'm hardly eating into it... I figured this'd be useful!
