Congrats Robw35 and Mitedo with their new acquisition of the fresh brand new D2x.

The D2 family now is getting bigger and bigger.

Enjoy your new toy.

For Mitedo,

Happy birthday to you!

I have Color Space / Color Mode as default and turn off or default all Image sharpening/ Tone Compensation.
I shoot RAW and would like have the fast write speed, so I can play around with those later.

Once more thing:

If you shoot with the 70-200VR, set "a4 Lock-On" OFF otherwise you'll get lot of OOF.

Congrats to the both Mitedo & Rob. I'm suitably jealous.

Rob - married life hasn't impacted the lust for gear I see and more importantly you have an understanding wife who lets you indulge it. Lucky man. What did you get Lorraine?

Rob, I think you've just helped me out - an 85 1.4D* is a whole lot cheaper than a D2X!

Cheers

Rob - congratulations on the new toy, brand new D2x and abviously a :D man. BTW: have you been out this morning to buy Lorraine the diswasher :?:

Now D2x versus a dishwasher - D2x wins out :)

I really wish I could afford a d2x or a D2hs.

The D70s will do I suppose :)

I recently got a new job that pays very well for someone my age and within a few months I could easily afford a new D2x body, But instead I think ill invest in more equipment and a spare D70s body.

But congrats on thier purchase I can only begin to imagin what it's like to swoon over one of those things and then finally get one to yourself.
