Flash BracketI have an sb800 but I want to get a flash bracket that will pull it off to the side.
I have never used one so what should i look for other that the capability to hold a flash......

olrac, Depend on how deep is your pocket, There're RRS, Kirk, Wimberley, Stroboframe and few other to name, they all have the flash bracket which will suit you. Birddog114

I use a simple Hama bracket in conjunction with the SC-29 for my SB-800. From memory, I think it was about $35. A friend of mine had one and ordered it from a photo shop. It was more for video cameras but works a treat with the SC-29 and is a lot cheaper.
You could probably use commander mode triggered by the on-board flash, but it would have to be mounted on the left of the camera as in the photo... You may still experience some mis-fires with this method and the cable would be more reliable. In addition, the SC-29 features an additional AF-Assist light. Cheers, John

makes sense sort of...
has anyopne used the sk-6 powered flash bracket from nikon there is some guy whos is selling them on ebay and they end up going for around 200 Is that good value?
