R1800 paper thickness

Postby Heath Bennett on Tue Oct 25, 2005 9:16 pm

R1800 paper thickness - what is the thickest recommended paper please? I have inkjet papers that vary up to 460 g/m2 (or gsm I guess)

Not sure Heath, but as a guide I have used up to 300gsm and also fluked canvas through, but canvas is not approved (and only works sporadically). There is no indication of GSM on my canvas.

Thanks Glen.

I used a few DES samples last night:

It would be an idea to approach paper companies like this with bulk orders. I was very happy with the results. The thickest I used was a 315 gsm INNOVA softex.

I will try out Hahnemühle (german?!) Inkjet FineArt Paper samples soon - up to Photo Rag 460 g/m2
