Got board!!!Had a play around with some still life, hand holding the SB-800 to see what I could come up with.
See what you think??? Click for bigger!!! Click for bigger!!! Cheers Ray >> All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism<<
Raydar - I love the first shot as I look at it you have captured perfectly what a still life is all about. The shadows enhance still life pics. Keep on keeping on.
Cheers Chris I could almost smell the frangipani. . . Chris

I was expecting to see a photo of some masonite, maybe three ply.
However, the still lifes (or would that be still lives) look great. Greg - - - - D200 etc

Ray, like the moodiness and shadows of the first one.
I must say also Ray, I like the bottle you keep your aftershave in Onyx, rare we disagree but we do on this one. For a product shoot, where we wanted to see the product this lighting would be unacceptable. For a still life, it's great. Remember most still life is a development of still life paintings from the great masters who usually had the light of a window to the side, even then it was hazy european sun, not clear aussie light.
