New member's websiteHas anyone had a look at MikeM website? He's one of our newest members and I think he has a really great portfolio, especially some of his black & white stuff.

I'm impressed by both the shots and the website.
I would love to have a website for my shots just like that.... anyone care to offer their services? Mike? http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
lovely work!
very nice flash work, perhaps maybe even more crisp and clean by using some pixel fonts? I like it alot! and ive seen some galleries! JD PS: fantastic photos! I love photos taken at night and macro's
Hi!Aaah, you folks are too kind, thanks, and I like it.....
Thanks for taking a look and the nice words. I've been browsing this wonderful site for the past few days, hesitant to post, as I thought maybe it was for Aussie folks, only. But, since my name was mentioned I'm jumping in..... Anyway, for the site, I purchased a flash template from these folks below.... if you go into the "portfolio" section, and look for "Style 17" that's the one that was used as a base to eb modified from for me. You can purchase the template (very inexpensive) from these folks, or have them modify an existing one, which I did (for #17), or they can build you a new one. The #17 was $60.00 USD. But, after I had some extras added to it, sound effect and music on/off buttons, more galleries and pics in each gallery, the total one-time cost came to about $150.00 USD, which seems to really be a bargain. The woman that helped to modify the templete for me was extremely helpful, and knowledgeable, and seem to be very flexible (kept the $$ low) in add-on costs. This is her name at that company, Paula Hightower at Winklet Web Design, in case you want to follow up with her. http://www.winkletwebdesign.com/ Thanks again for looking, and I and my D70 hope to partitipate in this site. Mike
Mike,
Welcome. I've yet to look at your site, but if the others acclaim it, then I'm sure I will too. Where in NC are you? While we're mostly from Oz, there are a few members from Canada, CA, Singapore .... The Netherlands ... and we don't discriminate. So enjoy. g.

Welcome to the forum by the way. The more members we have, only increases the experience base, where information can be shared to improve technique (s). Also love the website. Cheers, fozzie

Mike, welcome from me too, and from a quick look at your site (from work), I agree with the comments from others. Looking forward to having a good look through it all from home

Hmm... nice site.
Doesn't look like a complex build of Flash at all... (it's the developer in me speaking...) Moreso, just lots of little bits to edit. But good site. And welcome. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

Thanks againBird, Chris, Greg, Nnn, I'm honored to get such a nice welcome by you all.
Thank you! Nnnn, actually, just a flash template I purchased, and had the person at the co. that sold it modify it for me. I highly recommend them for any that want flash, although people have strong feelings for or against flash, there are very few in between..... http://www.winkletwebdesign.com/ Mike
