Well I have a problem on my end, it could be an issue with our firewall

Most likely. :)

I just sent a test from my gmail account and it arrived within seconds.

What error messages are you seeing? Please post the full headers from your email.

The email server that you're using is seriously misconfigured. The name being sent for the server - echoed in the HELO statement you quoted - should be the FQDN of the host.

"Arthur" is bogus, and cannot be traced back, and my server has been trained to reject this sort of misconfiguration as an antispam measure,

My server will also sit, stay, or rollover on command. :)
