Hiring a lens for an event?I saw somewhere (can't recall where) that some people, mostly pros can hire a lens for a particular job or event.
Does anybody know of a place that does this in Australia - Brisbane area more specifically? Thanks Cyrus It is more important to click with people than to click the shutter.

Sorry mate, the only place I know of is in Sydney.
It can get pretty pricey if you do it a few timess, in the end you may be better off buying your own (or buying second hand). Good luck searching though! ![]() 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

One off rentals can be really really exxy
I looked at hiring a d2X for a main shooter for a wedding once and it was going to cost more then a brand new d70s kit. also most newspapers and or pro's with a fairly high turnover tend to lease lenses from canon/nikon/whomever. This probly doesn't help much but you may gain a tad more insight into it. Last edited by Michael on Mon Oct 31, 2005 5:19 pm, edited 1 time in total.
