Black and White

Postby NewbieD70 on Wed Dec 08, 2004 8:39 pm

Hi all,

Just wondering if someone could tell me, when you see a black and white image and one item is in colour, is this done by the use of the lasso feature, or do you have to trace it out to convert it on editing software?

Thanks in advance for any replies :D
Thanks, Trevor

I use photoshop.

Make a duplicate of your background layer, convert that layer to greyscale or desaturate or whatever you want to do to make it black and white.. then delete the object from the normal layer with some careful eraser work.. or delete the coloured object to reveal the black and white one..

either way :)
