PotW 15.11.05This weeks Picture Of The Week is by Tarotastic. This really is a tremendous capture, mostly for content in this particular photo. Taken with a D70S and SB800. Original thread here: http://www.dslrusers.net/viewtopic.php?t=11176

I still want to know how the fat cat got that far off the ground....... this shot works for me
Cheers ....bp....
Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing
Fantastic capture Tarotastic, I was amazed when I saw this shot. It is fair to say that there are many elements to photography, and the capacity of a photograph to record a moment of interest is one of my favourites.
Great photo, and an excellent selection Glen. Greg - - - - D200 etc

Well done Taro!
It is a great shot timing wise, as this jump must of happened in a heartbeat, or maybe two. Not bad for less then a fortnight on the forums either, looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Great choice Glen and well done Taro.
Just like Mrs Slocombe there is something delightful in seeing a leaping pussy Chris

I do love a Mrs Slocombe reference. Did you know that her full name is Mary Elizabeth Jennifer Rachel Yiddell Abergavenny Slocombe ? Greg - - - - D200 etc

Nice capture Taro
How many attempts did it take to get the shot? Or did you get the keeper first time? Well done mate, looking forward to more pussy action.. Nikon F80D, FM2n

I have had the pleasure of having drinks with Mollie Sugden (Mrs Slocombe) and Bill Pertwee (Dad’s Army) in a small pub near Guildford in the UK. Mollie is well known to the police in the area as she tends to drive very badly. Bill’s son became an actor and had to change his birth name of Jon Pertwee as it conflicted with another well known Pertwee. Chris

Great timing The cat's expression reminds me of the Miyasaki character Totoro.
