What's my camera doing ?I noticed a problem with my camera in Boston, but it's not becoming a real problem.
The problem is most apparent in Shutter Priority mode, where if I set the shutter speed to 4 seconds, ever second shot will be taken at 2 seconds. It previously seemed to only happen when I was using the timer, but no it happens all the time. I was shooting at a party last night some in S mode some in A mode an in either, ever second photo is underexposed compared to the last. Essentially my photos go, light, dark, light, dark , light dark etc. My question is, do I have it on some Stupid setting, or does my camera have a real issue ? (maybe a light metering issue?). It just got really annoying last night as I shot 500 photo's and nearly every second is a waste. Please help! If need be I can post examples.
Hi Craig,
have you managed to set it bracketing mode? That usually takes either 2 or 3 photos at different exposures. Don't have access to my camera right now, but sounds like it could be your "problem". HTH, radar
It's proberly not this but,
You don't have bracketing activated do you? I can't see it being this as it's shutter speed related. Looks like it could be a trip to Maxwell's.. EDIT, beaten by Radar! Nikon F80D, FM2n

Metering issues are also a symptom of the BGLOD problem; that's why mine went in this week.
