I have recently bought d70 and hence joined this forum. Extremely excited with everyone's reveiw and also the sensational camera.

I also have an old flash Nikon SB-22s and was wondering whether it would be ok with the d70 or I need to fork out more $$$ to get a compatible one...

Cheers!

Ken Rockwell seems to think, yes, it will work. Read here..

Most people here at d70users think, poor ishman, he doesn't realise how much stuff he will end up buying, and the SB-800 will be a part of that stuff, regardless of whether the sb22s works or not

:) :)

Welcome to the forum, enjoy your d70

Hi ishman, welcome to your ever growing family. :)

You might wanna read up on the thread about the SB800 and 1/8000th sync - if you block off the correct terminal, it might make that SB22 do some trendy things it didn't do before. ;)
