Adelaide Hills, Kangaroo Creek to Mt Lofty (dialup beware)I went for a drive on Friday through the Adelaide Hills with Frink. Here are a few of my shots that I liked and thought I'd share with you. We drove from up Gorge Road to Kangaroo Creek Reservoir, then cut through the top of the hills to Mt Lofty Summit and finished in the Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens.
Unfortunately it was completely overcast so the skys are all blown out, but the greens all over the hills are very... GREEN! It's a great time of year up there now if you want to capture green landscapes or green nature shots. In case you would like to see the rest of my shots from the day they are all online in my photo gallery here. EXIF info is attached for the sticky beaks. PS. Don't bother trying to get a Pizza at Crafers for a Friday lunch, the best those hills-folk can do is Bangers and Mash in the pub. Photo gallery online here and some more on deviantArt here.
Just had a peek at your photo gallery Oli.... there are some nice shots there, gives me a few ideas
Second to last shot is excellent, but i dont think the resizing help The most secure computer in the world is one not connected to the internet. Thats why I recommend Telstra ADSL.
Good to hear you got some ideas. I often get ideas from other peoples galleries or images...
Yeah the resizing never helps, but on this forum I try and keep them small since some people are apparently still on dialup. Photo gallery online here and some more on deviantArt here.
better late than never..Here are a few of my shots from the day.
Bit of haze in some of these shots from some burning off that was happening in the area. Bit of a mixed bag, haven't processed these much. Need a bit of cropping and the usual tweaks.. So much green EXIF should be intact on the larger size, pbase doesn't seem to keep EXIF when it resizes though.. Last shot was taken shortly after I found a time machine.. Hope that's not too many shots in one post.. i'll trim some out if needed. Stephen
