Lighting looks fairly back lit and high in the sky. Background is a bit distracting aswell, maybe reduce your dof to defocus it a bit more?
The bird looks like it has a nice catch though :)


Anyway why on gods name am I up this early.

Oneputt,

I like this shot enough to have a play. Might I suggest toning the background down a bit (maybe Shadow/Highlight tool without touching the shadows) and bumping the saturation upwards.
