Huge Ligtening Storm

Postby petermmc on Sat Nov 26, 2005 9:56 pm

Its just gone over/through Wollongong. One of the best demonstrations of lightning I have seen for some time with associated hail and rain. Heading towards Sydney. Get those DSLR's primed and put your cars under cover.

Mines been setup for the last hour, however it's all too far away and obscured by cloud... but it's definitely going off.. I hope some of the other members have a good position for this...

Man I drove from Sydney at 10:30 and drove through that storm. It was weird the fog/low cloud was so heavy and then having lightning flashing all around... it was a fairly slow trip home. No hail but some really heavy rain this morning, and it's been raining all night since. I sure hope the rain is falling where it's needed!
