JOhn

Just what is the PlugIn. Is it Adobe Camera Raw? If it is then chances are you have the new one that won't work with PS 7. If not, where have you put the file and are you on a Mac or a PC

None of the RAW plugins will work with Photoshop 7... I thought I said this in your previous Photoshop 7 thread.

To open RAW in Photoshop 7, you need to have a Nikon program installed so Photoshop can recognise what a RAW file is and when you open the RAW up in PS7, you'll have severely limited options as for what you can do.

RAW only started to be recognised when PSCS came into the picture.

Yes, but PS7 had, from what I recall, part of PSCS essentially in it likewise with a lot of other Mac programs at the time... where the Mac versions of products like Internet Explorer (MSIE) (weird, ain't it?), Office, Quark, and others were a least half a step ahead of their PC counterparts.

That changed when Apple hit the OSX updates for some reason... companies stopped putting their products a half step ahead... but I'm not really sure why.
