Second Battery Recall

Postby blinkblink on Wed Dec 07, 2005 7:10 pm

Damn,

there has been another batch of batteries that have been recalled. The numbers are 51AA, 51AB, 51AC, 51AD, 51AE, 51AF, 51AG, 51AH, 53AA, 53AB, 54AE, 54AF, 54AH.

Sadly, my battery is in the list.

Chris

No problems they simply replace it. Just a little inconvenience really. :D

They gave me an "e" model instead of a "a" (ENL3). No advanced batt features on my d70. Ohhh well need to upgrade to a D200 coz of the battery

There's nothing sad about obtaining a new battery. Not only that, it's an upgraded battery that has higher capacity, more features, compatibility with the next gen camera and retails for more than the original!

Sadly, my battery's batch number is NOT on the list - and I'm experiencing what the recall was for - excessive heat during charging.
